Before we start.

The practical details about access, updates, cleanup, and working with Kumify.

Can you help if my website has already been hacked?

Yes. Tell us what happened and share your website address. We review the information and confirm a scope for investigation or cleanup. Complex incidents may require hosting-provider or specialist assistance.

Will updates affect my website’s appearance or features?

They can. Plugin, theme, and WordPress changes may introduce compatibility problems. We plan backups and agree on relevant checks. Legacy software and custom-code repairs are scoped separately.

Are paid or premium themes and plugins included in an upgrade?

Paid or premium themes and plugins are covered only when you provide a valid licence and the latest official update files or access to download them. Components whose updates are unavailable from the vendor or cannot be legally downloaded are excluded from the standard upgrade package. Licence purchases, renewals, replacements, and any additional compatibility work are quoted separately.

Can you clean or upgrade custom code?

Cleaning and upgrading custom code is carried out on a best-effort basis only. Successful cleanup or compatibility with newer WordPress, plugin, or theme versions cannot be guaranteed. The scope and any additional charges for custom-code work are agreed before work begins.

What access will you need?

Depending on the service, WordPress administrator, hosting, SFTP, or database access may be needed. We explain the minimum access required and arrange a suitable way to share it. Do not submit passwords in this form or ordinary email.

How long does the work take?

Timing depends on site size, access, dependencies, and infection complexity. We discuss an estimate after assessment. The starting prices do not include a guaranteed emergency response.

How does pricing work?

Upgrades start at S$69, scanning at S$29, minor malware cleanup at S$149, and Complete Care is S$180, per site, one time. We confirm the scope and total before work begins. Any applicable tax or third-party fees are itemised in the quote.

Do I need to buy scanning and cleanup together?

No. Malware Cleanup includes scanning and supported core, theme, and plugin upgrades. Complete Care adds security hardening for S$180. A standalone scan is useful when you want to investigate first, without committing to remediation.

What does the S$180 Complete Care plan include?

Malware scanning, cleanup, supported core, theme and plugin upgrades, and practical security hardening for one standard WordPress website. Hardening includes login protection, access and unused-component reviews, and safer WordPress settings where supported. The plan includes the one-month re-clean warranty. Standard scope is up to 2 GB, 30 supported plugins, and one active theme. Premium updates require valid licences and official files. Complex incidents and additional repairs are quoted separately.

Does malware cleanup include a warranty?

Malware cleanup includes a one-month warranty from the date cleanup is completed. If the same website is reinfected within that month, we will re-clean it at no extra service charge. Contact sales@kumify.sg within the warranty period to arrange the re-clean.

Can you guarantee the website will never be hacked again?

No website can be guaranteed completely secure. We can identify practical improvements based on the findings, including updates, access reviews, and further security work where appropriate.

Do you offer hosting or ongoing maintenance here?

The published packages cover one-time work on your existing website. If you need ongoing support, tell us your requirements so we can discuss a separate scope.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer, and all major credit cards or PayNow through the secure Airwallex payment gateway. Payment instructions or a payment link will be provided with your agreed quote or invoice. Airwallex is a Level 1 PCI DSS-certified payment service provider. Do not send card details by email or through the enquiry form.

What does “if we can’t fix it, it’s free” mean?

If we cannot resolve the issue within the agreed service scope, you pay no service fee for that job. We confirm the issue and scope before work starts so you know what the job covers.
